Job Specifications

Venture backed advanced startup that provides a data matching platform to commercial and federal clients, is looking to hire a senior software engineer (back-end leaning) in Alexandria, Virginia. This person will be heavily involved with system design, shaping and owning features from soup to nuts, crafting robust API’s, and assisting with the development of AI/ML solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to get on the ground floor with a growing organization that’s hired some of the top talent in the space.

Required Skills & Experience

· 5+ years of professional software engineering

· Programming experience with: Node.js, Go, Scala, Python or Typescript (open to polyglots)

· Experience with system architecture and feature design

· Background shipping products from scratch

· Experience building out custom Restful API’s

· Bachelor’s in computer science or related field

Desired Skills & Experience

· Master’s in computer science or a related field

· Experience integrating data pipelines and API’s with front-end systems.

· Experience with data orchestration, data transformation, and/or data warehousing tools: Airflow, Snowflake, dbt, dagster or similar

· Background developing AI/ML solutions

· Open source contributions and active on github
