Searcys are looking for a Sales and Events Executive to join the team at The National Gallery.

As a Sales & Events Executive you will be responsible for preparing detailed and bespoke catering quotes and planning events. Working on reactive and proactive sales enquires, planning a wide variety of events including intimate gatherings, brand collaborations and seasonal receptions allowing you to show exquisite detail, service excellence and showstopping food.

The role will be based at the Sainsburys wing at The National Gallery, and Searcys are proud to be working in collaboration with the World Famous, Michelin starred Chef Georgio Locatelli on this project.

Job Description

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: £35,000

As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and overseeing the planning and execution of high-profile events. This role is perfect for a sales-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in event sales and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for liaising with the gallery
Working closely with the operations team to ensure seamless event execution
Preparing detailed and bespoke catering quotes and planning events
Proactively generate and convert event sales leads, meeting revenue targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and private clients.
Conduct venue show rounds, presentations, and sales pitches.
Work closely with the operations and catering teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
Represent the venue and Searcys at networking events and trade shows.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Proven experience in event sales within a high-end venue, hotel, or catering company.
A strong sales mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
A passion for delivering exceptional events and client experiences.
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Knowledge of London’s events and hospitality market is an advantage.
