JOB TITLE: Contracts Engineer

LOCATION: Paris, France

ASSIGNMENT TYPE: Residential

START DATE: ASAP

CONTRACT LENGTH: Annually Renewable Contract

WORKING SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, 5 days a week, 8 hours a day

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and administer all contracts throughout the project phases, including Pre-project and FEED. May also support preparation and administration of EPC contracts at later stages.

- Manage the FEED contract and execution contracts.

- Assist the project manager with technical and commercial clarifications during FEED.

- Support the engineering manager during execution of the FEED phase.

- Ensure all tenders and contract activities comply with regulations and internal rules and procedures.

- Prepare procedures related to contracts.

- Organize clarification meetings.

- Negotiate contracts and prepare data for review.

- Support the project control manager with smaller contract placements and related activities.

- Prepare and maintain variation registers, assisting project control on claims, disputes, and negotiations.

- Advise project control manager and project manager on all contract administration matters.

Project Context:

- Large-scale energy initiative based in Nebraska, jointly developed by multiple international partners.

- The project team will be based in Paris during FEED, with possible relocation to contractor offices during later project stages.

Duration and Location:

- Start date: ASAP

- Duration: 12 months (renewable)

- Location: Paris area, France, with potential later relocation to contractor offices

- Status: Residential

Technical Requirements:

- Degree in Engineering, Business, or Law

- Proficiency in English

- 15+ years of professional experience

- 10+ years of experience in project CFT and contract administration within the energy industry
