Role Description

This is a remote, contract role for a Back End Developer with expertise in Java. The Back End Developer will design, develop, and maintain robust back-end systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Duties include writing clean and efficient code, collaborating with front-end developers and cross-functional teams, and resolving technical challenges. The role will also involve implementing and maintaining best practices for programming, debugging, and software lifecycle management.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including experience designing and building scalable server-side solutions
Strong background in Software Development with expertise in Java and related frameworks
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles for efficient and reusable code structure
Familiarity with Front-End Development concepts to collaborate effectively with front-end teams
Proficient in Programming, with a focus on coding, testing, and debugging
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Experience with cloud-based technologies and APIs is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
Knowledge of agile development practices and version control tools like Git is advantageous
