Salary: £45-£65K
Hybrid: 2-3 days a month in the office (2-3 days a week if London-based)

A prominent digital transformation firm is recruiting an accomplished, Security Cleared (SC Cleared) AWS DevOps Engineer to develop, construct, and sustain robust cloud infrastructure alongside automation pipelines for critical client initiatives. The position entails taking charge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and deployment automation in protected, regulated settings-mainly aiding public sector projects. We need a practical specialist in AWS, versed in DevSecOps methodologies, with proven success in providing dependable, scalable systems.Key Responsibilities

Develop and sustain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitLab or GitHub.
Oversee IaC implementations via Terraform to create reproducible, standards-compliant setups.
Automate build, test, and deployment processes to guarantee uniform, dependable outcomes.
Integrate OWASP security guidelines and DevSecOps approaches throughout the entire delivery process.
Provision and operate containerised applications through Kubernetes or AWS options like ECS/EKS.
Track infrastructure health and uptime, establishing forward-looking alerts and logging mechanisms.
Work alongside diverse teams to integrate DevOps functions and promote ongoing enhancements.
Assist in resolving infrastructure and deployment challenges in live and test environments.
Requirements

Active SC clearance (essential).
Extensive practical AWS background (compute, networking, security capabilities).
Strong skills in GitLab or GitHub for source control and pipeline orchestration.
Established Terraform proficiency for IaC deployments.
In-depth Kubernetes expertise in cloud-based operations.
Firm understanding of OWASP principles integrated into CI/CD and infrastructure planning.
Proficiency in Scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Track record in Agile settings, aiding varied technical squads.
Desirable

AWS credentials (eg, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or Solutions Architect).
Prior involvement with public sector or controlled sectors.
