Spencer Rose are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (IT) to support the development of a new agentic AI platform designed to capture and operationalise knowledge across the construction business. This is a contract opportunity with an immediate start and the potential to transition into a permanent role in the future.
OUTSIDE IR35
URGENT START
London City
Hybrid - approximately 2 days a week in the office
MUST HAVE CONSTRUCTION OR BUILT ENVIRONMENT EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across multiple disciplines within the organisation to gather, analyse and translate operational knowledge into structured workflows and processes that will feed into the platform.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with stakeholders across the business to understand processes, workflows, and operational knowledge
Elicit and document requirements for integration into the platform
Translate business processes into structured workflows and knowledge frameworks
Facilitate workshops and information-gathering sessions across various construction functions
Support the definition of requirements and user journeys for the platform
Requirements
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the construction or built environment sector
Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering skills
Experience translating complex operational processes into documented workflows
Understanding of the different disciplines within a construction business (eg commercial, project delivery, design, operations)
Familiarity with AI terminology or concepts is beneficial but not required
