Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) specializing in cybersecurity and large-scale network monitoring systems. The CTO will lead the technical vision and development of Flowtriq’s attack detection and traffic profiling platform.

Responsibilities include designing scalable systems for packet analysis and flow telemetry, leading backend and infrastructure architecture, guiding product development for real-time threat detection and alerting, and managing the engineering roadmap. The CTO will work closely with product leadership to translate emerging attack patterns into platform capabilities and ensure the system remains performant, scalable, and resilient under high-volume network traffic conditions.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in distributed systems, backend software development, and large-scale data processing
Experience designing architectures for network telemetry, traffic analysis, or security monitoring platforms
Proven ability to define and execute long-term technology strategy aligned with product and company objectives
Experience leading engineering teams and managing complex technical projects
Background in product development, particularly security or infrastructure-focused SaaS platforms
Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts including DDoS attacks, botnets, network traffic analysis, and threat intelligence
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities
