(Graduate +1 to 3 years exp.) - Perfect role for an Engineering Graduate with 1+ years of experience that wants to learn more around financial services products.

About the Role:

A rapidly scaling Capital Markets FinTech is seeking a Java Developer to work on the build of a financial data platform. The role will suit someone who wants to learn about complex financial products and contribute to the build of industry leading financial data platform.

You’ll work closely a team of engineers to ensure the platform meets the demands of mission-critical financial services clients.

Responsibilities:

Develop high performance Java applications
Own backend platform builds
Work with distributed systems and cloud environments
Advocate high quality code and deliver best practices
Support scalability, resilience, and performance

Required Skills:

1-3+ years in senior development roles
Some background or a desire to work in FinTech or Financial Services (Capital Markets beneficial)
Software development experience (Java mandatory)
Looking to gain exposure to distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architecture
Experience with some cloud - preferably AWS
Strong communicator able to influence technical direction
Hands-on mindset

London – 1 day per week onsite
