Profectus Recruitment is partnering with a well-established professional services firm to recruit a 1st / 2nd Line Engineer. This newly created role will provide IT support across multiple offices, assisting around 100+ users and supporting wider technology projects.

The role will initially be based in High Wycombe, with regular travel to Amersham offices. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Assist the IT service desk and escalate issues where required
Support system implementations, onboarding, office moves, and user training
Help develop reporting, including Power BI dashboards, and support adoption of new technologies
Contribute to knowledge management, internal resources, and documentation
Assist with technology improvement initiatives, cyber security awareness, and AI adoption

About You

Previous experience in IT support or service desk roles
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Confident communicator able to support non-technical users
Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
Interest in technology improvement, reporting, or automation a plus
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
