The Role

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be the bridge between complex data and strategic action. You will deliver high-impact reporting and analytics solutions to internal stakeholders, ensuring the organization makes data-driven decisions. This role involves analyzing internal and external data sets, identifying trends, and contributing to the evolution of the company’s BI platforms and data architecture.

Main Responsibilities

Visualization & Querying: Utilize PowerBI, Excel, and SQL to design interactive dossiers and perform ad-hoc queries to meet evolving business needs.
Standardization: Create and maintain standardized reporting templates and comprehensive documentation.
Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct information-gathering interviews with internal clients to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to perform risk and impact assessments and provide actionable recommendations for process improvements.
Communication: Distill complex data findings into clear, meaningful insights for stakeholders across the organization.

Must Haves

Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in a dedicated analytical role.
Technical Stack: Proficiency in PowerBI, web-based analytics applications, and various database environments.
Programming & Scripting: Practical knowledge of SQL (queries and scripting), as well as Python or R for data analysis.
Database Knowledge: A strong understanding of relational databases.
Soft Skills: A self-motivated, proactive mindset with a desire for long-term career stability and professional growth.

Nice to Haves

Experience working within a Data Warehouse/Data Mart environment.
Previous experience in a role involving internal client-facing requirements gathering.

Compensation & Logistics

Salary Range: $75,000 – $90,000 per year.
Bonus: 8% annual performance bonus.
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite in London, ON).
