About the Company
Our partner organization operates in financial services sector. They are building out modern data and AI capabilities with a focus on governance, measurable outcomes, and enterprise adoption.
The team works across advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI enablement, partnering closely with engineering and business stakeholders to move priority use cases from concept through production.
The Role
This is a senior leadership role for someone who can scale enterprise data science and AI delivery in a practical, outcomes-driven way. You will own the roadmap across advanced analytics, machine learning, and GenAI initiatives, lead a multidisciplinary team, and decide when to build internally, partner externally, or combine both to deliver trusted, production-ready capabilities.
What You Will Do
Own the enterprise roadmap for data science, advanced analytics, and AI initiatives, taking use cases from early discovery through production rollout.
Set the standards for experimentation and measurement, including hypothesis design, controlled testing, evaluation, and impact tracking.
Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across discovery, prioritization, adoption, and ongoing lifecycle management.
Partner with engineering and architecture to deliver reusable, production-ready patterns on Databricks in cloud environments such as Azure and AWS.
Embed governance into delivery, covering privacy, security, compliance, documentation, monitoring, drift management, and audit readiness.
What You Bring
10+ years of experience across data science, analytics, and applied AI, with a track record of delivering measurable business results.
5+ years of experience leading and scaling data science or analytics teams in complex organizations.
Proven experience taking work from research and experimentation into production-grade solutions with clear ownership for adoption and performance.
Strong hands-on depth in Python and/or R, modern ML frameworks, large-scale data platforms such as Databricks, and cloud delivery in Azure and/or AWS.
A strong grasp of experimentation, model evaluation, monitoring, AI governance, and executive-level communication in regulated or high-trust environments.
