This position can be based at our Suresnes office (soon relocating to La Défense) or in Valence, just a 5‑minute walk from the TGV station, which connects to Lyon Part‑Dieu in 35 minutes.
The Process & Tools team at Ingenico provides the DevOps environment used by our technical teams to develop payment terminals, software solutions, and associated services.
Our environment now integrates services based on Artificial Intelligence: agents for customer support, cloud operations, and R&D. These solutions rely on a cloud platform offering advanced capabilities such as managed vector databases, optimized RAG systems, chatbots, autonomous agents, and more.
As an AI Development Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and evolving this internal platform. You will develop end‑to‑end solutions and collaborate with business teams to transform their needs into practical applications.
Your Main Responsibilities
Build and enhance the internal AI platform
Design and implement the software architecture for AI solutions
Develop key libraries and components
Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of deployments
Develop AI applications and agents
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Design systems based on agents and LLMs
Develop, test, and deliver robust AI applications
Drive Ingenico’s AI transformation
Train teams on LLMs, agents, and AI tools
Promote AI adoption through demos and knowledge sharing
Foster innovation and experimentation
Advise management and share expertise
Stay up to date with AI technologies and trends
Advise management on strategic AI opportunities
Identify high‑impact use cases to maximize AI value
Profile
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in Python
A first significant experience with a Python AI framework (LangChain, CrewAI, or equivalent)
Key Technical Skills
Mastery of LLM concepts: prompting, embeddings and vectorization, semantic search, RAG systems
Knowledge of AI performance evaluation methods (LLM‑as‑a‑judge, etc.)
Cloud application deployment and Docker images
Data engineering and vector databases (ChromaDB, PgVector)
DevOps and CI/CD environments
