Spacelabs Healthcare is advancing patient monitoring technology to improve clinical outcomes. We’re seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our R&D team, focused on developing automated tests for our next-generation patient monitoring platform.
In this hands-on role, you’ll design and implement test automation for complex, networked medical systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across software, hardware, systems, and verification to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Python, object-oriented design, multithreading, and test automation tools, with a solid understanding of Agile and CI/CD practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop test automation for embedded Linux-based patient monitoring systems
Review requirements and contribute to test architecture and component design
Write, debug, and document test automation code
Collaborate with global teams and ensure timely delivery of test solutions
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Software and test automation development
Proficiency in Python and OOP
Experience with automation tools (e.g., Squish, Selenium), CI/CD, and Agile
Familiarity with regulated environments and medical device standards (IEC 62304, ISO 14971) is a plus
