Exciting opportunity to build the platform allowing AI to operate safely and at scale within the financial sector, unlocking high-level financial guidance to millions.

We are seeking a Senior or Principal Platform Engineer to join our team in London and play a critical role in shaping how we build, deploy, and operate software.

The Role

This position sits at the intersection of enablement and governance. You will empower our engineering teams to move fast while ensuring our mission-critical systems meet the highest standards for security and compliance. You will own our GCP infrastructure and act as a guardian of our security posture, meeting NIST and SOC-2 requirements without slowing down innovation.

What You’ll Do

Enable Velocity: Build and maintain GCP infrastructure using Terraform to create consistent, repeatable environments.
Standardize CI/CD: Design and implement deployment standards that allow teams to release frequently and confidently.
Security & Compliance: Implement security controls (IAM, VPC, encryption) and ensure compliance with NIST and SOC-2 frameworks.
Observability: Build logging and monitoring infrastructure that meets strict audit retention and integrity requirements.
Collaboration: Partner with the Staff Platform Engineer on architecture decisions and mentor team members across the organization.

What You Bring

Experience: 5+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
Cloud Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Terraform.
Automation: Proficiency in designing CI/CD pipelines and strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.
Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with implementing technical controls for frameworks like NIST or SOC-2.
Bonus Points: Experience in fintech, Kubernetes, or observability tools like Datadog and Prometheus.
