Java SQL Risk Analysis Shell Accounting

Job Specifications

Investment Bank requires Level 2 support consultants to join their dynamic team. Front office functional support cross asset with some technical capability. Excellent team environment.

The role is a L2 support role. It is customer-facing and the candidate will be required to be onsite in London at least three days per week.

The team covers day-to day support for:

PnL/Risk analysis and investigations across Fixed Income, FX, Credit, Energy, and Precious asset classes
General FO analysis and investigations (Pre-trade, e-tradepad, simulation views etc.)
VaR analysis an investigations (MRA/MRB module)
Reporting (Datamart) analysis and investigations
Accounting analysis an investigations
Exchange/Contract/Event/Deliverable workflow analysis an investigations
General Murex environment support (Core Murex services and bespoke internal satellite JAVA services)
Languages employed (outside of Murex internal) – SQL (Oracle), Shell scripting, Groovy, JAVA
Overnight support rota – roughly 1 week out of every 10 weeks. London rota ends at 10pm in Winter and 11pm in the Summer (hand over to Singapore team)
