The Intern role performs activities relating to software engineering , where we ensure our products provide healthcare providers with tools to better care for their patients and ensure the safe use of these tools . Regular tasks, projects, and special assignments may be part of your work experience.

This is a 10-12 week internship based in Snoqualmie, Washington. The hybrid work expectation will require you to work onsite in Snoqualmie 3 or more days per week and 2 days telecommuting. We are seeking local students pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher computer science, electrical engineering w/ software focus, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Work individually or as part of a small team .
Design and implement tools and automation .
Write, implement, and report status for system test cases for testing, to assist in debugging and modification of software . Document test execution . Analyze test cases to ensure functionality and recommend corrective action. Generate engineering and design documentation as required .
Participate in the review of requirements and designs.
Provide reports and presentations to management as required .

Qualifications

Must be c urrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering w/ software focus, or a related field.
Able to reliably complete assigned tasks with limited supervision, and demonstrate learning and building on previous instruction and experiences
Able to participate in a project team as a reliable member.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills needed to be effective in a collaborative, diverse work environment.
Must possess strong problem-solving skills, including market research and financial modeling skills. The knowledge of an array of analytical methods, and the ability to deploy the appropriate approach in a timely manner , is critical.
Competency in computer skills: MS Office, software development tools ( ie . Visual studio / PyCharm), query tools and database systems/applications.
Flexible schedule, expected to work a standard work week with core hours being 10am to 3pm for meetings and project communications .
Hybrid position required to be on-site in Snoqualmie 3 or more days per week.

The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.

Base salary is one component of your total rewards package.
