Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Platform Engineer to support one of our financial services clients within their Market Risk organization. This role focuses on supporting and modernizing the Adaptiv market risk platform used to monitor balance sheet, market, and credit risk across global financial transactions. The ideal candidate enjoys owning complex platforms, working closely with risk and trading teams, and ensuring accurate, reliable daily risk reporting while contributing to ongoing system improvements.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Supporting and maintaining the Adaptiv market risk platform
Ensuring accuracy and reliability of daily market and credit risk reporting
Validating trade and market data flowing through the platform
Investigating and troubleshooting data and system issues impacting risk calculations
Working with large datasets covering ~35,000 trades per day across 200+ data fields
Using SQL and Snowflake to analyze data, validate outputs, and resolve discrepancies
Partnering with risk, trading, and business teams to understand platform usage
Collaborating with upstream and downstream technology teams on data pipelines and integrations
Supporting a platform modernization initiative through process and system improvements
Contributing to documentation and operational best practices

The Ideal Candidate

Experience supporting enterprise platforms or financial systems
Hands‑on experience with the Adaptiv market risk platform
Strong SQL and data analysis skills
Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
Ability to analyze end‑to‑end data flows and troubleshoot reporting issues
Strong communication skills with technical and business stakeholders
Curious, motivated, and willing to take ownership of learning a complex platform
