Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Analyst II with strong experience in SQL scripting, query writing, and production support. This role will focus heavily on investigating system issues using SQL and managing incidents through ServiceNow (SNow).

The selected candidate will join a 4-member production support team responsible for monitoring and supporting applications related to vehicle inspection workflows. This workflow operates outside the standard auction process and is part of a relatively new operational process at Client.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor daily production operations and ensure vehicle-related processes run smoothly.
Manage the workflow from vehicle inspection through data transmission into listings.
Write and maintain SQL queries to investigate production issues and identify process delays.
Identify data anomalies and escalate issues to the appropriate teams.
Manage incidents and service requests using ServiceNow (ITSM).
Investigate data processing delays and production incidents.
Perform log analysis, including reviewing server logs and system logs.
Troubleshoot data transmission issues and monitor overall system performance.
Collaborate with development, inspection, and quality teams to resolve issues.
Assist with user onboarding and provisioning requests when necessary.

Required Skills

Strong experience with SQL scripting and complex query writing
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (SNow) / ITSM ticket management
Experience with production support and incident investigation
Ability to perform log analysis and troubleshooting
Experience identifying data anomalies and system bottlenecks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Interview Focus

During the interview process, candidates will be evaluated on:

Expertise in SQL queries and data investigation
Experience using ServiceNow for incident and ticket management
Ability to conduct root cause analysis using logs and SQL
Experience supporting production systems and troubleshooting operational issues

Additional Information

On-call rotation required once the candidate is fully ramped up (weekly rotation).
This is a newly created position.
Candidates must have minimum 3+ years of experience.
Entry-level candidates will not be considered.
Senior-level candidates are welcome, provided they are comfortable performing mid-level responsibilities.
Automotive industry experience is a plus but not required.
