Data Design Analyst/Data Modeler - 6 months - Leeds(Hybrid) - Inside IR35
We are seeking an experienced Data Design Analyst/Data Modeler with 6-8 years of experience to lead end-to-end data modelling activities as part of a large-scale Oracle to Azure Microsoft Fabric migration.
The role will involve designing scalable data models and supporting the transition of enterprise data platforms to modern cloud-based architecture. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure data structures support analytics, governance, and performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models within Azure Microsoft Fabric.
Lead data modelling activities for Oracle to Azure migration initiatives.
Define and optimize Medallion Architecture layers (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
Translate business and analytical requirements into scalable and robust data structures.
Ensure data integrity, performance, scalability, and governance compliance.
Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders throughout the data lifecycle.
Skills and Experience Required:
Strong experience in data governance, metadata management, and data cataloguing.
Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Purview (catalog, lineage, classification, glossary).
Experience supporting cloud-based data platforms, preferably Azure Microsoft Fabric.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and analytics ecosystems.
Experience implementing Medallion Architecture frameworks.
Contract Details:
Duration: 6 months
Rate: 375-400
