Myticas's direct client, based in Chicago, IL, is currently seeking a Cloud Specialist (AWS) for a 1 Year contract position.

NOTE: Looking for W2 candidates.

Top Required Hard Skills

Subject matter expertise: Demonstrated advanced experience integrating legacy platforms and applications with AWS.

AIOps proficiency: Strong experience with AIOps, including the ability to provide guidance, leadership, and automation solutions.

Production monitoring: Extensive background in production monitoring using tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk, and CloudWatch.

Top Required Soft Skills

Problem-solving ability: Advanced capability to solve problems by analyzing available information, prioritizing tasks, and making timely decisions. This includes correlating data using standard business and technology tools, spotting trends, and applying sound security and risk management principles.

Job Description

As Cloud Specialist (AWS), you will serve as a lead technical operations expert responsible for the design, implementation, and support of cloud-based information technology solutions in both current and future states. In this role, you will be tasked with building, maintaining, and operationalizing infrastructure, security services, and system components in a government cloud AWS environment to deliver highly available and scalable services. You will join an on-call rotation and are expected to provide expertise and technical leadership on any issues that may arise.
