Position Title* Software Engineer Mid-Level Position Responsibilities Software Engineer
Location: Hybrid in Des (Need local only)
Duration : 6 months

Project:
Going to be supporting their corporate accounting and systems that they utilize as they go through a modernization
Be responsible for keeping current system business as usual
Support vendor systems and home-grown integrations

Technical Skills:
REQUIRED: Python, Java, GIT, AWS, SQL and API experience
Nice to have: informatica, JCL, and COBOL, DB experience, any experience with the oracle EPM suite

Soft skills:
Can jump between technology, be flexible, help team support tickets
Experience working in financial systems (Any sort of financial domain knowledge will be great)
Strong communication, really collaborative team
Not going to be able to spend a ton of time onboarding this person, so needs to be able to jump in right away
Knowing when they feel strong enough to make judgment calls, research and problem solve on their own

Team size:
3 people onshore, 4 offshore people (mix of home office and India)
Bonus if this person has offshore working exp
Have a delivery manager in the home office, helps run ceremonies , and then a product manager as well
