General Role Info

We are looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented Salesforce Application Developer to join our client's technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions. You will work on everything from custom application building and complex system integrations to optimizing existing processes to ensure peak performance.

Main Responsibilities

End-to-End Development: Design and implement custom solutions using Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
System Integration: Build and maintain integrations with third-party applications and external APIs.
Platform Support: Manage day-to-day troubleshooting, resolve incidents, and address enhancement requests to maintain system stability.
Technical Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures.
Security & Data Integrity: Implement best practices for role hierarchies, sharing rules, field-level security, OAuth, and SSO.
Performance Optimization: Refactor existing code to minimize technical debt and enhance system scalability.
DevOps & QA: Partner with QA teams to develop automated testing frameworks and manage production releases via CI/CD pipelines.
Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior developers on Salesforce best practices and emerging technologies.

Must Haves

Experience: 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
Technical Stack: Proficiency in LWC, Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce API integrations.
Platform Knowledge: Strong understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce Platform features.
Certification: Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) is required.
Tools: Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Gearset) and version control systems like Git.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

Nice to Haves

Salesforce Platform Developer II (PD2) certification.
Salesforce Application Architect certification.
Experience in the fleet management or financial services industry.

Other Important Info

Salary Range: $100,000 – $115,000 per annum (commensurate with experience).
Bonus: 10% annual performance bonus.
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week).
Note: Candidates must be in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Location: * Current: Mississauga (Robert Speck Parkway) until September 2026.
Future: Downtown Toronto (Adelaide Street) starting September 2026.
