Job Title: Founding Engineer
Role Summary:
Early‑stage engineer leading the core platform architecture and tooling for a high‑growth cyber and SaaS identity‑access automation company. Own end‑to‑end development of scalable, secure services, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and customers to deliver enterprise‑grade solutions.
Expectations:
* 1+ year experience building & supporting production systems
* Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and distributed systems acumen
* Customer‑focused, commercially aware, resilient, and highly accountable
* Comfortable operating autonomously in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments
* Proven ability to scale through funding rounds and product evolution in start‑ups, ideally in cyber or SaaS.
* At least one‑to‑three year startup background (pre‑seed to Series C).
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and maintain core automation and platform services in TypeScript/JavaScript
* Build secure, reliable, and scalable system components using SQL‑based datastores and modern web frameworks
* Enhance internal tooling, configuration workflows, and infrastructure‑as‑code pipelines
* Deliver reporting, visibility, and control features for secure access governance
* Strengthen security, data protection, and compliance mechanisms (e.g., IAM, Zero‑Trust)
* Collaborate with front‑end, back‑end, infrastructure teams, and enterprise customers to solve complex problems
* Drive rapid iteration from concept to production, ensuring high reliability and auditability
Required Skills:
* Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and SQL
* Experience with modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js, Nest.js)
* Familiarity with secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
* Strong debugging, profiling, and distributed system troubleshooting
* Knowledge of IAM, PAM, compliance, or identity‑access governance (optional but desirable)
* Ability to write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive tests
* Excellent communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams
Required Education & Certifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent work experience)
