**Job title:** Head of Finance
**Role Summary:**
Director‑level leader responsible for establishing, scaling, and overseeing the global finance operation of an international media‑entertainment business. Duties cover financial operations, reporting, controls, and strategic partnership with senior leadership to drive growth and profitability.
**Expections:**
- Fluency in French and English.
- Proven executive track record in finance leadership within fast‑growing, multi‑country companies.
- Strong grasp of IFRS and French GAAP, with experience in consolidations and statutory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to transform finance functions, implement advanced systems, and optimize processes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and team‑development skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and modernise the global finance function, including operations, reporting, and FP&A.
- Manage AR, AP, payroll (France, UK, Spain), cash management, FX, and banking relationships.
- Conduct monthly and annual group consolidations and ensure IFRS/French GAAP compliance.
- Partner with the CFO on strategic initiatives: international expansion, M&A integration, transfer pricing, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Champion best‑practice processes, controls, and technology to enable scalability and efficiency.
- Deliver commercial and financial insights to senior leadership and the board.
- Build, mentor, and cultivate a high‑performing, globally dispersed finance team.
**Required Skills:**
- Advanced accounting and finance expertise (IFRS, French GAAP).
- Deep understanding of corporate finance, FP&A, commercial finance, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project‑management abilities.
- Experience with finance transformation, ERP implementation, and process optimisation.
- Proven influence and collaboration with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate multi‑currency, multi‑jurisdictional finance environments.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 8‑10 years of senior finance experience, preferably at a Finance Director or similar level in an international business.
- Understanding of media/entertainment finance (royalties, licensing, ad revenue) is advantageous.
