**Job Title:** Business Analyst
**Role Summary**
Act as a Business Analyst and Project Manager for small initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and implement business, IT hardware, and software solutions. Translate business needs into actionable technology plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
**Expectations**
Partner with BIT teams and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end business and IT solutions. Lead requirements gathering, solution analysis, and project execution for small to medium initiatives. Support process improvements and technology adoption while adhering to formal methodologies.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Adhere to BIT project lifecycle (intake, evaluation, requirements, solutions, post-approval support).
- Elicit, document, and prioritize functional/non-functional requirements through workshops and interviews.
- Assess and recommend technology, hardware, or software solutions with feasibility studies, cost/benefit, and risk analysis.
- Act as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
- Prepare documentation, status reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Streamline business processes using Agile, Waterfall, Lean methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Develop test plans, coordinate UAT, and manage post-implementation reviews.
- Plan and execute small projects (scope, budget, timeline), tracking risks and reporting updates.
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years of business analysis experience in IT environments.
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen to align technology with organizational goals.
- Proficiency in requirements modeling, process mapping, user stories, and documentation.
- Vendor selection experience (software evaluation, contract negotiation, SLA management).
- Formal project management experience (small/medium initiatives).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Preferred: CBAP, PMI-PBA, or PMP certifications.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems (ERP, CPQ), cybersecurity principles, and global project collaboration.
