Job Description
**Job Title:** ITIL ITSM Consultant **Role Summary:** Design, implement, and maintain IT Service Management frameworks aligned with ITIL best practices. Assess existing processes, drive continual improvement, and ensure SLA compliance while providing training and support to cross‑functional teams on‑site in the United Kingdom. **Expectations:** - Deliver measurable improvements in ITSM efficiency and service quality. - Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of all ITSM processes. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and provide clear training. - Ensure adherence to agreed SLA targets and ITIL standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Evaluate current ITSM practices and identify gaps. - Design and implement ITIL‑based processes (incident, problem, change, service request, service transition, CSI). - Configure and optimize ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Cherwell). - Produce detailed analysis reports and actionable recommendations. - Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff and stakeholders. - Monitor performance metrics, generate dashboards, and enforce SLA compliance. - Collaborate with technical and business teams to align services with business objectives. **Required Skills:** - Strong knowledge of ITIL v3/v4 frameworks and hands‑on ITSM experience. - Proven process design and continual service improvement expertise. - Proficiency in incident, problem, and request fulfillment management. - Advanced analytical and reporting abilities. - Excellent verbal and written communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills. - Ability to work collaboratively on‑site in a fast‑paced environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - ITIL Foundation or higher (Practitioner/Intermediate) certification – mandatory. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). - Additional certifications (e.g., ITIL Managing Professional, ServiceNow System Administrator) are a plus.
