Role Description

This is a contract position for an ITIL ITSM Consultant based on-site in the United Kingdom. The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and processes in line with ITIL best practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing current ITSM practices, developing process improvements, providing training and support, and collaborating with teams to ensure seamless operation and service delivery. The role will require analyzing operational data to identify efficiencies and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications

Strong understanding and hands-on experience with ITIL frameworks and IT Service Management (ITSM).
Proven expertise in process design, service transition, and continual service improvement.
Skilled in analyzing workflows and generating detailed reports and recommendations.
Proficiency in incident management, problem management, and service request fulfillment processes.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills to deliver training and support teams effectively.
Passion for driving operational efficiency and innovation in ITSM processes.
ITIL certifications are required (e.g., ITIL Foundation or Practitioner Certification).
Previous experience working with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or Cherwell is an advantage.
Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment in the United Kingdom.
