Job Description

Job Title: Financial Planning Analyst Role Summary: Provide comprehensive FP&A support within a fast‑growing financial services firm, driving financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic business partnering across senior finance and operational stakeholders. Experiences: 2–5 years post‑qualification FP&A or financial analysis experience in a regulated, multi‑entity environment; proven ability to develop and maintain complex financial models and dashboards. Key Responsibilities: - Build and update financial models, forecasts, and planning tools. - Own key deliverables during planning and reforecast cycles, including budgets and MI. - Conduct variance analysis, trend identification, and risk assessment against actuals. - Partner with operational teams to provide insights, challenge assumptions, and inform decisions. - Develop and enhance FP&A processes, controls, and data quality initiatives. - Create and maintain dashboards and analytical outputs for real‑time performance monitoring. - Support ad‑hoc financial analysis and cross‑functional finance projects. Required Skills: - Advanced Excel proficiency; experience building complex models. - Familiarity with enterprise planning or forecasting systems. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and detail orientation. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex data simply. - Collaborative, proactive mindset with relationship‑building across business units. - Curiosity to uncover underlying drivers of financial performance. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. - Professional qualification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, CPA) preferred but not mandatory.
