Job Description
Job Title: Interim Senior Finance Manager Role Summary: Lead regional financial reporting, controls, and global audit integration for a high‑growth, technology‑driven enterprise undergoing international expansion. Deliver accurate month‑end reporting, strengthen governance, and drive process automation across multiple jurisdictions. Expectations: 9‑month fixed‑term contractor, reporting to Group Financial Controller; required to steer a small finance team, communicate complex IFRS issues to senior stakeholders, and provide strategic financial insight during a critical growth phase. Key Responsibilities: • Own month‑end close and financial reporting for assigned regions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Maintain analytical oversight of financial performance and balance‑sheet integrity. • Manage local statutory audits and contribute to group audit activities. • Support regulatory reviews, tax inspections, and statutory filings in relevant jurisdictions. • Design, document, and enforce robust financial controls and risk‑mitigation frameworks. • Provide authoritative guidance on complex accounting matters with strong IFRS competence. • Act as trusted advisor and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders. • Coach, develop, and manage a small finance team, driving performance and continuous improvement. • Identify and execute automation opportunities, leveraging data‑driven solutions to enhance reporting efficiency and scalability. Required Skills: • Certified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent). • Proven experience managing sophisticated month‑end cycles and audits in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments. • Strong IFRS knowledge and analytical mindset. • Proficient in handling large datasets and driving automation initiatives. • Effective communicator able to translate technical accounting concepts into business‑friendly insights. • Leadership ability, with a track record of developing and influencing teams and stakeholders. • Familiarity with modern cloud‑based ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) a plus. Required Education & Certifications: • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent accounting qualification (post‑qualification).
