**Job title** C# Developer – Contract (Remote) **Role Summary** Provide 10 contract positions within a large‑scale transformation programme. Modernise legacy systems into scalable, maintainable, cloud‑ready solutions using C#/.NET and SQL. Remote, UK‑based contractors only. **Expectations** - Contract role, £350 per day, outside IR35. - Fully remote; collaboration with distributed engineering and delivery teams. - Contribution to a long‑term transformation programme. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and refactor applications in C#/.NET. - Develop and optimise SQL Server (or equivalent) database solutions and support data migration. - Lead or support migration of legacy systems to modern architectures. - Apply best practices for performance, security, and maintainability. - Collaborate with distributed teams in Agile/Scrum environments. - Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance (if applicable). **Required Skills** - Strong commercial experience with C#/.NET. - Solid experience working with SQL Server (or similar) – optimisation and data migration. - Proven experience on transformation or modernisation projects. - Comfortable working in a fully remote contract role; must be UK‑based. - **Desirable**: Experience with modern .NET (6+), cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum delivery. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
