**Job Title:** Segment Leader **Role Summary:** Leads and manages a production segment within an automotive manufacturing environment, ensuring timely delivery, high quality, safety, and continuous process improvement through effective team leadership and cross‑functional collaboration. **Expectations:** - Achieve on‑time production targets and meet demand forecasts. - Resolve material, labor, or equipment shortages promptly. - Maintain product quality and drive root‑cause analysis of defects. - Uphold workplace safety standards. - Foster a motivated workforce, especially during peak periods. - Coordinate positively with maintenance, quality, and other departments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Supervise production scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation. - Monitor, report, and act on key performance indicators (KPIs). - Optimize production processes and implement efficiency initiatives. - Lead a team, providing clear reporting, coaching, and performance feedback. - Conduct deep analysis of quality issues and implement corrective actions. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe work environment. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align production with maintenance, quality, and supply chain needs. **Required Skills:** - Strong leadership and team‑management abilities. - Excellent communication and reporting skills. - Proficiency in KPI tracking and performance follow‑up. - Expertise in production process optimization and scheduling. - Capacity planning and resource management competence. - Problem‑solving aptitude for material, equipment, and quality challenges. - Ability to motivate staff and maintain engagement under pressure. - Collaborative mindset for interfacing with multiple departments. **Required Education & Certifications:** - BAC +5 (or equivalent university degree) in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. - Minimum 5 years of senior‑level experience in the automotive industry. - Knowledge of relevant safety and quality standards (e.g., ISO/TS 16949, OHSAS/ISO 45001) is preferred.
