Job Description
Job title: Contract Technical Business Analyst Role Summary: Serve as the primary liaison between client stakeholders and the technical team for the integration of a large logistics system with middleware and other systems. Determine requirements, model business and data flows, and shape project roadmap to deliver high‑value outcomes in a fast‑paced, Agile environment. Expectations: Immediate start on a 6‑month IR35 contract; remote work primarily with limited travel; demonstrate rapid stakeholder engagement, influence conflicting priorities, and produce actionable solutions for complex integrations. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to gather and document requirements. - Analyze integration challenges and propose effective technical solutions. - Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to model data structures and business processes across integrated systems. - Develop and maintain the engagement roadmap, ensuring alignment with project goals. - Partner with product owners and business stakeholders to refine and prioritize the backlog, writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria. - Perform database analysis, middleware connectivity checks, and investigate system behavior as required. - Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to all relevant parties. Required Skills: - Proven experience in technical system integrations, especially in logistics or similarly complex domains. - Strong stakeholder management and influence skills, able to resolve clashing priorities. - Agile methodology experience within cross‑functional teams. - Ability to build relationships quickly in dynamic engagements. - Excellent written and verbal communication, active listening. - Technical proficiency in database analysis, middleware integration, and system behavior diagnostics. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI‑PBA, Certified Scrum Master, or equivalent Agile Business Analysis credentials) are preferred.
