**Job title**
IT Project Manager – Banking/Insurance Sector
**Role Summary**
Lead end‑to‑end IT projects for banking, finance, and insurance applications, delivering solutions that meet client requirements, budget, and quality standards while driving digital transformation initiatives.
**Expectations**
- Deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to agreed quality.
- Maintain clear, frequent communication with client and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, analytical rigor, and a results‑oriented mindset.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Produce detailed project plans, risk registers, status reports, and change logs.
- Coordinate cross‑functional internal and external teams through all phases: design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Monitor project progress, manage scope changes, and address issues proactively.
- Conduct risk identification, mitigation planning, and escalation as needed.
- Facilitate project steering meetings (COPIL, COPROJ) and ensure transparent progress updates.
- Ensure client satisfaction and project success, contributing to business growth.
**Required Skills**
- Minimum 5 years of IT project management experience, preferably with international exposure.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Java, and Oracle.
- Budgetary management and cost control expertise.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and team‑leading skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle complex projects, and drive results.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Graduate degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional project‑management certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) is a plus.
