Job Description
Job Title: System Engineer Role Summary: Deliver L3/L4 technical support and infrastructure management for a hardware R&D and manufacturing environment. Provision, configure, patch, and maintain Windows Server, Linux, AD, VMware, Hyper‑V, SAN, and backup systems. Create and maintain as‑built documentation, operating procedures, and vendor relationships. Perform technical assessments of emerging technologies and automate infrastructure tasks with scripting. Expectations: * Minimum 5 years of experience with Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy). * Proven ability to manage VMware and Hyper‑V virtual environments. * Hands‑on knowledge of SAN, iSCSI, load balancing, auto‑scaling, replication, and encryption. * Competence in Linux administration (optional but preferred). * Proficiency in BASH, PowerShell, or Python for automation. * Experience using Jira, ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems. * Willingness to work onsite (5 days a week) in a manufacturing/cleanroom setting.
