**Job Title:** Senior Solutions Architect (Pre‑sales)
**Role Summary:**
Trusted technical advisor who partners with sales to drive value for enterprise customers on the Bloomreach Discovery platform. Leads technical discovery, designs solutions, builds demos/POCs, and ensures seamless handoff to delivery teams. Provides expertise on commerce search, data integration, and AI‑driven personalization.
**Expectations:**
- Collaborate closely with sales, solution consultants, agencies, and customer IT teams.
- Own end‑to‑end technical scope for pre‑sales engagements, from discovery to executive readout.
- Deliver high‑quality architecture artifacts and maintain clear communication of risks, assumptions, and estimates.
- Contribute reusable assets and mentor junior team members.
- Stay current on product roadmap and translate field feedback into best‑practice guidance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Serve as subject‑matter expert on Bloomreach Discovery for technical and business audiences.
- Conduct technical discovery, map requirements, and produce high‑level architecture (HLD) with measurable outcomes.
- Design and validate data flows: catalog ingestion, event tracking, API usage, caching, and search/relevance configuration.
- Create and deliver tailored demos and proofs of concept aligned to customer KPIs and MEDDPICC criteria.
- Co‑scope with agency/SI partners, apply quality gates, and ensure clean handover to Services.
- Package HLDs, estimates, RACI, and risk logs for delivery teams; remain engaged to de‑risk implementation.
- Support RFP/RFI responses, security questionnaires, and address technical objections.
- Produce reusable templates, checklists, and patterns; mentor solution consultants on technical components.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong technical background in Java, Python, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and REST APIs.
- Deep expertise in commerce search & discovery: indexing, feed pipelines, catalog/taxonomy design, facets/filters, boosting/re‑ranking, and analytics‑driven A/B testing.
- Ability to design integration approaches, data models, and performance‑optimized architectures.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Experience collaborating with sales, agencies, and cross‑functional teams in complex IT environments.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years experience in commerce solutions (system integrator, in‑house engineer, or sales) and 3 years in technical roles (software engineering, solution engineering). No specific certifications required, but relevant cloud or architecture certifications are a plus.
