**Job Title** Associate Director, Sub‑Regional Marketing Business Partner – France **Role Summary** Develops, leads, and implements integrated marketing strategies for Illumina’s product portfolio in France. Works with the Sub‑Regional GM, commercial, and channel partners to align marketing plans to regional revenue goals, drive demand, and strengthen pipeline health through coordinated events, digital, and content initiatives. Provides analytical reporting and insights to optimize ROI and support sub‑regional business plans. **Expectations** - Deep understanding of French healthcare, research, and commercial customer segments. - Ability to combine creative campaign design with robust analytics to achieve measurable results. - Proven experience in marketing strategy, go‑to‑market planning, and cross‑functional collaboration within a matrixed organization. - Strong stakeholder management skills and capacity to influence without direct authority. - Budget ownership and OpEx management aligned with revenue targets. **Key Responsibilities** - Formulate and execute marketing plans that support sub‑regional commercial objectives in France. - Develop go‑to‑market strategies, clear milestones, and action plans aligned with Illumina’s positioning and branding. - Design a marketing tactics flight plan in partnership with Regional Field Marketing programs, events, tradeshows, and digital teams. - Ensure alignment of activities, clear metrics, and balanced OpEx across sub‑region and region. - Analyze customer pipeline KPIs (marketing qualified leads, opportunities, new customer numbers) against regional business plans and adjust engagement plans accordingly. - Build and maintain target customer engagement plans for existing and new customers in collaboration with sales, strategic growth, and global teams. - Coordinate with Regional and Global stakeholders to monitor pipeline health and adjust plans for maximum return on marketing investment. - Track lead generation, campaign performance, and sales pipeline impact; provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. - Report regularly on KPI progress, campaign effectiveness, and ROI to GMs and cross‑functional teams. **Required Skills** - Strategic marketing & go‑to‑market planning - Market segmentation & customer insights (French healthcare & research) - Digital marketing strategy, content creation, and deployment - Event and tradeshow coordination - KPI tracking, pipeline analysis, and ROI reporting - Budget and OpEx management - Strong analytical and creative problem‑solving - Cross‑functional stakeholder engagement (sales, channel, global teams) - Excellent communication (written & verbal) in English; fluency in French required - Leadership in influencing and guiding cross‑functional teams **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field. - Master’s degree (MBA) or equivalent experience preferred. - Professional certifications (e.g., CMO, Digital Marketing, or similar) welcomed but not mandatory.
