Job Description
Job Title: Practitioner Psychologist Role Summary: Senior clinical psychologist delivering neuropsychological assessment and evidence‑based interventions for adults with neurological, functional neurological, and psychiatric conditions within an outpatient neuropsychology service. Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams (CBT therapists, physiotherapists, neuropsychiatrists, neurologists) to provide specialist care, supervise colleagues, and drive service development and research. Expectations: - Lead neuropsychological assessments, formulate culturally appropriate diagnoses, and design targeted interventions. - Operate autonomously within BPS and HCPC guidelines, maintaining professional conduct and confidentiality. - Provide clinical supervision, consultation, and mentorship to service users, families, and multidisciplinary staff. - Engage in service evaluation, audit, research, and policy development to enhance service quality. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for patients with neurological or functional disorders and psychiatric comorbidities. 2.
