Job Description
Job Title: Managers, Data Informatics Role Summary: Lead a Data Acquisition Application Development engineering team to migrate data platforms to cloud and build a unified framework for data onboarding. Oversee the full software development lifecycle of complex data applications, ensuring operational sustainability and alignment with enterprise policies and business value objectives. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality, cloud‑native data solutions; craft and execute roadmaps that cross functional boundaries; maintain clear solution intent; drive compliance and governance across architecture, engineering, legal, and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a software engineering team focused on data acquisition and onboarding. - Lead migration of on‑premise data platforms to cloud environments (AWS, GCP). - Design, implement, and maintain a unified data onboarding framework. - Coordinate end‑to‑end development of data‑centric applications using Java and Spark. - Define solution strategy, architecture, and operational requirements. - Guide customizations from concept through production delivery with cross‑functional teams. - Ensure platforms are maintainable, scalable, and compliant with security and regulatory standards. - Influence data acquisition policies, procedures, and best practices organization‑wide. Required Skills: - Credit industry domain knowledge. - Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Struts, Spring, IBM AIX, Linux, Ab Initio, Splunk, Zenoss, CA Autosys, Apache Airflow, IBM z/OS (ISPF/TSO). - Experience with IDEs and tools: Eclipse, Squirrel, IBM ClearCase, ClearQuest, Visual Studio Code, GitHub, Bitbucket, Harness, WinCvs. - Cloud expertise: AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, S3), GCP (App Engine, Cloud Functions). - Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes. - CI/CD & monitoring: Jenkins, Grafana. Required Education & Certifications: - Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field. - Minimum 2 years of software development experience.
