Job Description
Job title: SEO and Digital Content Specialist Role Summary: Drive the online visibility and engagement of a guide dog organization by planning, developing and executing SEO strategies for its website, targeting supporters and visitors across major search engines. Expectations: - Increase organic traffic and conversion rates. - Maintain and improve search engine rankings. - Deliver measurable campaign results and insights. Key Responsibilities: - Create and prioritize an SEO backlog. - Collaborate with Digital Content Production, developers, stakeholders, Digital PR, and Paid Search teams to implement backlog items. - Conduct on‑page and technical SEO audits and recommendations. - Monitor, analyze, and report performance using analytics and reporting tools. - Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of SEO best practices and algorithm changes. Required Skills: - Minimum 2 years of hands‑on Content and/or Technical SEO experience (agency or in‑house). - Proficiency with SEMRush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, GA4, and Looker Studio. - Functional knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Ability to document, prioritize, and track SEO initiatives. - Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field. - SEO‑related certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) are a plus.
