AI Solutions Manager (Investment)
**Role Summary**
Senior leader responsible for defining, executing, and scaling AI-driven solutions that augment investment management workflows. Oversees a cross‑functional team developing agentic systems integrating LLMs, quantitative models, and real‑time reasoning to enhance research, portfolio construction, risk analysis, and client engagement at institutional scale.
**Expectations**
- Drive measurable efficiency gains and incremental alpha generation through AI adoption.
- Maintain strong relationships with investment, data, and technology stakeholders.
- Deliver high‑impact AI initiatives on schedule, ensuring safety, compliance, and observability.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Own the AI strategy and portfolio of initiatives across the investment lifecycle (builds, pilots, vendor integrations).
- Build and lead a high‑performance team of AI developers and data scientists to produce research‑grade outputs.
- Define product roadmaps, evaluate feasibility, and manage agile delivery to iterate and scale solutions.
- Partner with senior investment leaders to translate complex processes into agentic, scalable AI workflows.
- Guide the architecture of agentic systems (LLMs, RAG, multi‑agent frameworks) integrated with enterprise data platforms.
- Ensure security, compliance, and operational reliability of AI systems in production.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging AI technologies, and best practices to keep the organization competitive.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress, impact, and risk management.
**Required Skills**
- Leadership of investment and technology teams.
- Strong Python or R proficiency; hands‑on experience with agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, LangGraph).
- Advanced prompt engineering and workflow decomposition skills.
- Deep knowledge of investment workflows (research, portfolio construction, trading).
- Excellent communication with technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to manage cross‑functional collaboration and deliver on milestones.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics).
- 7+ years of experience in investment management workflows.
- Optional: Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field.
- Optional certifications: Databricks GenAI, SnowPro GenAI, AWS ML, or similar.
- CFA charterholder or active candidate preferred.
