Job Description

**Job Title** Back End Developer **Role Summary** Design, implement, and maintain high‑performance server‑side components for a growing SaaS platform that powers over 5,000 e‑commerce sites. The role focuses on reliability, scalability, and clean code practices, contributing to architecture and standards across the product. **Expectations** - Mid‑level, senior, or lead experience acceptable. - Demonstrated ability to deliver robust, high‑volume applications. - Commitment to disciplined engineering, including code reviews and maintainable design. **Key Responsibilities** - Build new features and services for the Salesfire platform. - Write, test, and optimize server‑side code using object‑oriented PHP (Laravel, Lumen) and/or NodeJS. - Design database schemas, implement caching strategies, and ensure application scalability. - Uphold system reliability for critical customer workloads. - Contribute to and evolve backend coding standards and best practices. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in PHP (Laravel, Lumen) or comparable back‑end languages. - Experience with relational database design and optimization. - Familiarity with caching mechanisms and performance tuning. - Knowledge of contemporary SaaS technologies and cloud infrastructure. - Understanding of web application development lifecycles. - Strong coding style, readability, and maintainability focus. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred). - AWS certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
