Job Title: National Account Manager – [FTC]
Role Summary
Lead and manage the national grocery portfolio, driving P&L performance and joint business planning (JBP). Build and nurture key buying relationships across major UK grocery, convenience, and food‑service channels. Execute commercial strategy for the noodle‑pot and cups product lines, ensuring profitable growth and efficient trade investment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the UK commercial strategy for cups, targeting grocery, convenience and food‑service retailers.
- Manage trade investment budget, ensuring ROI across sales channels (Tesco, Sainsbury’s, ASDA, Co‑op, etc.).
- Identify and secure new business opportunities (airlines, trains, contract catering, universities).
- Own end‑to‑end account management, including promotions, trade investment, and trade activation planning.
- Coordinate with Sales, Market Strategy & Planning, Marketing, and Supply Chain for alignment on trade activation, invoicing, ROI and performance review.
- Lead monthly sales, RGM and category meetings, provide accurate forecast and KPI reporting.
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activity and consumer insights to inform account strategies.
Required Skills
- 5+ years managing national grocery accounts or equivalent retail portfolio.
- Strong P&L ownership and joint business planning experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication; ability to influence key buyers.
- Data‑driven mindset: analysis of sales, trade spend, and ROI.
- Experience working cross‑functionally with marketing, supply‑chain and finance.
- Entrepreneurial, self‑starter, adaptable and resilient in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with sales analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel) and CRM platforms.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or related field.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages valued.
- Certifications in sales, account management or supply‑chain (e.g., Certified Sales Professional) are a plus.
