**Job Title:** Director of Sales
**Role Summary:**
Lead and grow a global B2B SaaS sales organization, managing both new business development and account expansion to achieve aggressive ARR targets. Build a high‑performance culture, deliver accurate forecasting, and collaborate cross‑functionally to scale growth.
**Expectations:**
- Direct and mentor a geographically dispersed team of ~9 sales professionals (Account Executives & Customer Success).
- Own end‑to‑end revenue growth (new logos, upsell, renewals).
- Maintain disciplined, data‑driven pipeline and forecasting accuracy.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership with actionable insights.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Recruit, onboard, and develop sales talent, fostering a culture of ambition, accountability, and collaboration.
2. Set realistic yet ambitious revenue targets; translate strategic goals into measurable outcomes.
3. Own and manage the full revenue lifecycle: prospecting, negotiations, deal closure, upsell, and renewal.
4. Provide hands‑on support in critical negotiations and RFP reviews to secure key accounts.
5. Oversee customer health, escalations, and account management processes to ensure seamless client experience.
6. Build and maintain a disciplined, data‑driven pipeline; optimize deal velocity, win rates, and strategic opportunities.
7. Develop dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., HubSpot, Modjo, Topo, Sales Navigator) to give visibility to leadership.
8. Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align strategies, optimize processes, and scale performance globally.
9. Champion sales best practices and tool adoption to enforce operational rigor.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven sales leadership in B2B SaaS, with 4–7+ years of experience leading revenue growth.
- Demonstrated success meeting/exceeding quotas and coaching teams to do the same.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical ability, and data‑driven decision making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage and inspire a distributed team across multiple time zones.
- Proficiency in CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and sales enablement tools.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Optional certifications: Certified Sales Executive (CSE), SaaS Sales Professional (SSP), or similar.
