Job Description
Job Title: Cyber Security Account Director Role Summary Drive new business acquisition for a managed cyber security services provider. Own end‑to‑end sales cycle, build CISO‑level relationships, and translate client needs into compelling security solutions. Deliver revenue growth through targeted prospecting, partnership alignment, and strategic pipeline management. Expectations - Consistently achieve and exceed new‑logo acquisition targets. - Build a robust, qualified sales pipeline that supports long‑term revenue goals. - Maintain high engagement levels with executive stakeholders and internal delivery teams. - Operate efficiently in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and in‑person client interactions. Key Responsibilities - Prospect, qualify, and convert new opportunities across mature cyber security markets. - Manage full sales cycle: discovery, needs assessment, proposal creation, negotiation, and close. - Develop and execute structured go‑to‑market and pipeline strategies. - Align internal delivery and technical teams with client requirements to ensure successful solution delivery. - Collaborate with partner and vendor partners to leverage joint sales initiatives and events. - Present compelling security propositions to C‑suite decision makers. - Track and report pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and achievement against targets. Required Skills - Proven business development and consultative sales experience, including closing complex enterprise deals. - Strong understanding of the cyber security landscape, especially SIEM, breach detection, and managed detection & response services. - Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving abilities. - Ability to build trust and maintain relationships with senior executives (CISO, Head of Security, etc.). - Self‑motivated, high‑energy, and goal‑oriented with a demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. - Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or similar) are highly desirable.
