Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Business Analyst **Role Summary:** Lead business analysis for finance system transformation initiatives, primarily SAP S/4HANA upgrades, within a global law firm’s technology function. Drive requirements gathering, solution design, and delivery support while mentoring junior analysts and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality business analysis for complex finance ERP projects. - Ensure clear translation of business needs into technical specifications. - Foster stakeholder alignment and maintain rigorous traceability through UAT. - Contribute to Agile project execution and mentor junior team members. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead requirements elicitation, process mapping, gap and root‑cause analysis for SAP S/4HANA finance upgrades. - Produce functional and non‑functional specifications, process redesign artifacts, and traceability matrices. - Coordinate with SAP teams, third‑party vendors, and internal project groups. - Support Agile delivery using Azure DevOps, facilitate sprint planning, and monitor progress. - Guide junior Business Analysts, providing coaching and knowledge transfer. - Assist in UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution. **Required Skills:** - Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Senior Business Analyst on finance system transformation projects. - Hands‑on expertise with SAP S/4HANA finance modules and upgrade implementations. - Proven competency in structured BA techniques: requirements elicitation, process redesign, gap analysis, and end‑to‑end traceability. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and Azure DevOps (or comparable Agile tooling). - Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership abilities. - Experience in professional services or consulting environments (preferred). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI‑PBA, SAP Business Analyst, Agile/Scrum) are advantageous but not mandatory.
