**Job Title**: Director, IT Infrastructure Engineering
**Role Summary**
Lead the global end‑user infrastructure and digital workplace strategy, delivering secure, zero‑touch, and highly automated identity, endpoint, and platform services. Own the evolution of Active Directory, passwordless authentication, patching, hardware provisioning, and enterprise service management (ServiceNow, Atlassian), while scaling a distributed engineering organization across AMER, EMEA, and APAC.
**Expectations**
- Establish and maintain a resilient, secure global directory and identity ecosystem.
- Drive the transition to passwordless and rapid zero‑day response capabilities.
- Quantify impact through Time‑to‑Value, Risk Reduction, TCO savings, and Zero‑Touch provisioning metrics.
- Align technology strategy with business objectives, ensuring regulatory compliance (GDPR, etc.).
- Deliver high‑quality digital employee experience with standardized golden images and seamless hardware lifecycle.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Own global Active Directory health, policy, lifecycle, and passwordless migration.
- Lead patching and vulnerability remediation strategy; partner with CISO on rapid response protocols.
- Design and implement zero‑touch hardware provisioning via Autopilot, JAMF, and custom golden images.
- Drive Enterprise Platform modernization (ServiceNow, Atlassian), enforce “out‑of‑the‑box” coding and unified data strategy.
- Manage enterprise licensing, negotiation, and tool consolidation for optimal ROI.
- Scale and mentor a global, high‑value automation engineering organization; promote self‑service and roadmap communication.
- Deliver metrics on improvement in employee productivity, security posture, and cost.
**Required Skills**
- Deep expertise in identity & access management, Active Directory, and passwordless technologies.
- Strong background in endpoint security, patch management, and zero‑touch provisioning.
- Proven automation and tooling skills (PowerShell, JAMF, ServiceNow, Atlassian, CI/CD).
- Experience with cross‑regional team leadership and follow‑the‑sun support models.
- Knowledge of GDPR, regional IT compliance, and enterprise licensing.
- Strategic thinking, stakeholder communication, and ability to translate technology goals into business outcomes.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (IT, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent business‑IT experience.
- Minimum 12 years in IT infrastructure, 5+ years in global leadership.
- Preferred certifications: MCSE/CCNA, Azure/AWS Certified Architect, ITIL v4, Security+ or similar.
