**Job title:** Senior Strategist
**Role Summary:**
Independent or contract-based Senior Strategist will lead digital experience strategy for a major UK brand. Responsible for bridging vision and execution across multidisciplinary teams (UX/UI, development, project management), guiding the client through research, strategy, workshop facilitation, and roadmap development for a 6‑8 week digital experience project.
**Expactations:**
- Deliver end‑to‑end strategic recommendations that are research‑driven, customer‑centric, and aligned with business goals.
- Translate vision into a prioritized, actionable roadmap that balances creative ambition with feasible delivery.
- Maintain clear communication with senior stakeholders, providing compelling presentations and facilitating alignment sessions.
- Operate effectively within Agile, iterative workflows and integrate data, design, and technical perspectives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Analyse client ecosystem, organization, customer base, and performance to define baseline and future challenges.
- Conduct desk and primary research, synthesizing industry trends, tech, market best practices, and customer insights.
- Map current cross‑ecosystem journeys with UX team and identify improvement opportunities.
- Build strategic frameworks, visions, and roadmaps that articulate opportunities and future state experiences.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions, ensuring clarity and consensus.
- Collaborate with design, development, and delivery teams to translate strategy into realistic, high‑quality deliverables.
- Advise on measurement frameworks for continuous improvement.
- Produce concise, compelling presentations for senior audiences.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years strategic role experience in agency or client setting, focusing on digital experience.
- Strong research, data literacy, and ability to brief/interpret data analysts.
- Experience with Agile/iterative project delivery.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work across interactive, technical, and operational teams; comfortable with ambiguity.
- B2B client experience (SME/enterprise) preferred; fast‑paced agency exposure advantageous.
- Familiarity with digital content strategy and measurement best practices.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- No specific certifications mandatory, but demonstrated expertise in digital strategy and project delivery is required.
