Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer
Role Summary:
Lead end‑to‑end development of Java/Spring and Angular applications within a large transformation programme. Drive architecture decisions, code quality, and delivery of new and existing business services while mentoring teammates and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Expectations:
- 10+ years of professional Java development, with strong front‑end exposure.
- Proven experience in multi‑system integration, microservices, and complex enterprise environments.
- Ability to coach and review junior developers.
- Fluency in English (team communication) and one of French or Dutch (technical documentation).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain business applications (Java/Spring, Angular).
- Build web services (REST/ SOAP) and component architecture, collaborating with architects and technical leads.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, user meetings, and technical working groups.
- Deliver unit/integration tests (JUnit, Mockito, Cypress, Selenium) and support continuous integration pipelines.
- Produce technical documentation, deployment artefacts, and quality reports.
Required Skills:
- Java, Spring Framework (Boot, MVC, Security, Batch), JPA/Hibernate, SOA, CQRS.
- Front‑end: Angular (latest), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript.
- Integration: SOAP, RESTful Web Services, Microservices.
- Cloud/Container: Docker, OpenShift, CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven).
- Version control: Git/SVN, IDEs (IntelliJ/Eclipse).
- Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle; O/R mapping proficiency.
- DevOps: SonarQube, Jira, Confluence, BPMN, UML.
- Agile/Scrum methodology, test‑driven development, continuous integration.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Certifications (preferred): Java SE, Spring Professional, Scrum Master, or related cloud/container credentials.
