**Job Title**
Senior Product Manager – Data Products
**Role Summary**
Lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of data products that generate measurable business impact. Own product vision, roadmap, and delivery while ensuring robust data governance, quality, and compliance. Drive collaboration between product, engineering, analytics, and platform teams to build scalable, secure, and high‑value data solutions.
**Expectations**
- Deliver data products that meet revenue, cost‑efficiency, and risk‑management objectives.
- Translate business needs into actionable PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain high product quality through rigorous testing, documentation, and stakeholder enablement.
- Build a continuous feedback loop to iterate and improve product performance.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define product vision, success metrics, and quarterly OKRs aligned to business goals.
- Conduct discovery activities: user interviews, process mapping, competitive analysis.
- Prioritize backlog, run agile ceremonies (sprints, stand‑ups, retrospectives) with engineering and analytics.
- Partner with data engineering to design data models, schemas, and batch/stream pipelines.
- Own data governance, quality SLAs, lineage, security, and legal compliance (GDPR, CCPA).
- Coordinate with platform teams on reliability, performance, and cost controls.
- Lead UAT, product launches, documentation, training, and stakeholder enablement.
- Define, monitor, and report KPIs such as adoption rates, CSAT, latency, SLA adherence, and cost per query.
- Evangelize data products through playbooks, templates, and internal training.
**Required Skills**
- Product Management fundamentals with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience defining and executing product roadmaps; setting OKRs/metrics.
- Familiarity with APIs, data modeling, and data pipelines (batch/streaming).
- Knowledge of data governance, quality frameworks, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA).
- Agile product ownership; ability to run sprint ceremonies and maintain backlog.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Proficient in translating business requirements into technical specifications.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of product management experience, preferably with data or analytics products.
- Agile certification (CSM, PMI‑ACP) preferred; data‑governance certification (CDMP) a plus.
