Job title: Product Specialist 5 (Salesforce)
Role Summary:
Act as a senior Salesforce administrator and process improvement specialist, leading configuration, data management, and user support for a large-scale public sector Salesforce implementation.
Expactations:
- Minimum 7 years of direct Salesforce administration and support experience.
- Proven track record managing user setups, permission sets, object and field configurations, page layouts, and validation rules.
- Experience leading system change requests with minimal user disruption.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, detail‑oriented, self‑starter.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to train and mentor users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, test, and implement system changes while ensuring uninterrupted user experience.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and validation rules.
- Manage user and system licenses, CRUD permissions, and permission sets.
- Monitor and maintain exception logs for backend integrations with Salesforce.
- Import, cleanse, and maintain high data quality across all objects.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and report folders.
- Document business processes, workflows, field maps, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide day‑to‑day support and mentorship to users and specialized groups.
- Communicate system enhancements, new features, and changes to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to enhance end‑user experience and drive platform adoption.
Required Skills:
- Salesforce.com Administrator certification (mandatory).
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce administration (user setup, security, data, configuration, automation).
- CRUD management and license administration expertise.
- Experience with exception log monitoring and back‑end integration oversight.
- Strong data‑quality management and data import skills.
- Proven ability to create dashboards, reports, and maintain reporting folders.
- Documentation and workflow design proficiency.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Salesforce.com Administrator certification (required).
- Desired—but not mandatory—certifications: Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Shield, Copado, Drawloop, ezProtect, OwnBackup, Metazoa Snapshot.
